Latest reviews of Cup O' Joe Music Edition : Learn to sight read music app for iPhone and iPad

Terrible
Buggy. Answers sometimes take 2 and 3 attempts at scoring, which bring down your time. If you score less than 65 percent, the app basically tells you, you did terribly. Not especially helpful for someone trying to improve their cognition. Pass on this app in all its versions.
For beginners only
The problem with this app is it doesnt show notes above or below the staff so youre really only learning the basic AGBDF type notes. Not good for people who need to know the more complicated scoring that frequently is part of more advanced piano playing or band instruments etc.
Good start
So far, I really like this app. Is good practice before my music classes and honestly gets my mind ready. I agree that there needs to be notes below and above the staff as these are the hardest to have completely down. Maybe this could be adjusted In a preferences menu or something? I am very happy with the app though and hope that the update that is to include ear training will have piano sounds that are slightly better than decent!
Stupid
Do not understand how to play it.. No directions. Do not purchase.
